Ann Zielinski

Ann's paintings strongly reflect the textures and images of ocean, trees and layered sandstone edges of the island. She is the only Canadian woman to achieve signature membership in American Watercolour Society (New York) and is also a signature member of the National Watercolour Society (LA) and Federation of Canadian Artists. Ann arrived on Hornby 33 years ago, and has been very involved in the creation of the Marine component of Helliwell Provincial Park and the recent preservation of the 240 acres Link/Parsons property, now a provincial park.

Ann is represented by the Kurbatoff Gallery in Vancouver and Gallery 223 in Nanaimo. Here on Hornby, her work can be found at The Island Gallery.
