Elspeth Armstrong
Elspeth and her husband have been visiting Hornby for some fifteen years and finally succumbed to its charms, ambience and environment, and moved to the island in 2007. Living in several provinces has given Elspeth an outstanding opportunity to experience the wide range of topography that Canada offers. She uses bold and dramatic colour to capture the beauty and wonder of the Canadian landscape, focusing mainly on BC's coastal terrain. Elspeth's acrylic on canvas paintings express her joy and awe of the richness around her. Her paintings can be found in corporate and private collections in Canada, the U.S. and South Africa.
Join Elspeth at the Community Hall this summer, July 7-10, 2010, as she presents an art show with Tara Ireland
Elspeth's work can be found on Hornby at:
Arbutus Arts Gallery, The Island Gallery and in her studio at 5455 Porpoise Crescent.
