Louise O. Jarvis
Louise was first inspired to make jewellery when visiting Hornby in 1975. She returned after twenty-five years in Ontario, where she honed her craft and taught classes in her home studio. Louise utilizes silver, gold and semi-precious stones to celebrate the natural world with designs inspired by water, dance and natural forms. Her work is alive with movement and joy.
Louise can be found most Wednesdays and Saturdays at The Hornby Farmers' Market, and in her studio on Harby Road until August 5th. Recent changes are taking her back to Ontario after a decade in B.C., but her work will still be available through her website and on her return to Hornby every summer from mid-June through July.
