Persimmon Blackbridge
Persimmon Blackbridge is an award-winning sculptor, writer and performer
whose work has shown across Canada and the U.S. as well as in Europe, Australia
and Hong Kong. Persimmon lived on Hornby for a year as a teen in a tiny
cabin she built herself, left to see the world and finally returned in 2002.
Her mixed media assemblages portray both the humour and gritty truth of
